Description
RTC DS3231 clock module with AT23C32 memory
RTC DS3231 is a highly accurate real-time clock module. The device has built-in memory and an integrated crystal. The module is universal and works very well with Arduino, ESP8266, ESP32, and Raspberry Pi.
It provides precise readings of seconds, minutes, hours, days, months, and years. Communication with the module uses the popular I2C bus, which greatly simplifies integration with various systems. The module is powered from 3V to 5.5V and includes a built-in square-wave generator.
NOTE: When powered externally at 5V, that voltage is passed to the battery connector. You must then use only a rechargeable battery (e.g. an LIR2032 rechargeable cell instead of a standard CR2032 battery).
