The Pimoroni PCIe Pipe 50mm cables offer a variety of options for connecting and positioning yourNVMe Base or NVMe Base Duo.
They feature a unidirectional design with 16 pads on the Raspberry Pi 5 side and 18 pins on the NVMe base side to prevent misassembly.
They are designed for PCIe Gen 3 speeds, but also support Gen 2 just as well.
A standard 35mm PCIe Pipe cable is included with the NVMe base, providing a compact installation.
The longer cable of the 50mm PCIe Pipe version allows the NVMe base to be mounted a little more comfortably around an existing chassis or mounted on top of/around your RPi 5 with a wider range of mechanical configurations.
