Description
Inductive proximity sensor PNP LJ12A3-4-Z/BY
The LJ12A3-4-Z/BY PNP inductive proximity sensor is a reliable device for detecting metal objects within a range of 0 to 4.0 mm. Thanks to its PNP / NO (Normally Open) output configuration, this module is ideal for industrial and workshop applications where precise detection is required. The product is compatible with popular platforms and works with ESP8266, ESP32, Arduino, and Raspberry Pi.
Powered by 6V to 36V DC, the sensor has a maximum operating current of 300mA. A rugged M12 housing ensures durability and resistance to environmental conditions, while compact dimensions allow easy integration with various systems.
Sensor wiring
The device has three wires 1.2 m long, which simplifies installation at the target location:
- Brown wire: + power supply
- Blue wire: − power supply
- Black wire: output signal +
Example applications
- Position detection in CNC machines
- Precise axis endstops in 3D printers
- Industrial automation and production lines
- Counting metal parts on conveyor belts
- Robotics projects and automated test stations
