LM2596S Step-Down supports input voltage in the range 3 - 40V and output voltage 1.5 - 35V. The module offers smooth voltage and current regulation via a multi-turn potentiometer and practical operation status indication with LEDs. Maximum output current is 3A (heatsink required). Circuit efficiency reaches ~90%, and the fixed switching frequency is 150 kHz. The module is ideal for powering microcontrollers, including Arduino, ESP8266, ESP32, and Raspberry Pi.
Depending on the set voltage and load, using a heatsink is recommended to avoid overheating the circuit. The heatsink is not included in the kit.
