Description
MAX4466 microphone amplifier with 20-20kHz microphone
The MAX4466 microphone amplifier, equipped with an electret microphone, delivers excellent sound quality across the 20 Hz - 20 kHz frequency range. The module allows smooth gain adjustment from x25 to x125 using a potentiometer located on the back of the board. The product is versatile and well suited for projects using microcontrollers - for Arduino, ESP8266, ESP32, and Raspberry Pi.
The amplifier has a rail-to-rail output coupled to the supply. Thanks to this design, in complete silence and at minimum gain, the output provides a stable voltage level equal to VCC/2. When connecting the module to devices with AC signal inputs, it is recommended to use a 100 uF capacitor between the amplifier output and the target device input, which ensures optimal quality of the transmitted signal.
