Description
P31 liquid level sensor - float switch
The P31 liquid level sensor is a reliable device that works on the principle of a reed switch. The module is versatile and is well suited for projects using microcontrollers, including Arduino, Raspberry Pi, ESP8266, and ESP32.
The design is based on a float with a built-in magnet and a shaft containing a reed switch. The kit includes a nut with a gasket, which simplifies mounting and ensures sealing and durability of the whole assembly.
How the float works
The sensor continuously responds to changes in liquid level in the tank:
- When the float is in the lower position - closed circuit
- When the float is in the upper position - open circuit
Key technical specifications
- Maximum switching voltage: 100V DC
