ESP-01s WiFi module with ESP8266EX chip for Arduino
A compact ESP-01S microcontroller module featuring the ESP8266EX chip and built-in WiFi connectivity. The ESP-01S version is an improved iteration of the popular ESP-01 module.
The key change is the integration of pull-up resistors on the RST and CS lines. This eliminates the need for external components when programming the chip. Operating stability has also been improved and wireless communication range slightly increased.
The board is based on Espressif’s ESP8266EX, which offers 1 MB of Flash memory. At its core is a 32-bit RISC Tensilica L106 processor clocked at 160 MHz. For convenience, the bottom of the PCB carries a clear pinout legend.
The module can be programmed using the Lua scripting language, Arduino IDE, or AT commands.
