Description
RCWL-0516 Doppler radar motion sensor module
The RCWL-0516 Doppler radar is an advanced microwave motion sensor for Arduino, ESP8266, ESP32, and Raspberry Pi. It is designed for precise detection of objects across a full 360° field. Using electromagnetic waves at approximately 3.15 GHz, the sensor can register motion at distances up to 7 meters. Thanks to a wide supply voltage range of 4 V to 28 V, the module is highly versatile in a variety of electronics projects. When motion is detected, the output goes high at 3.3 V.
The module operates reliably under varying environmental conditions. Compact dimensions of 35 mm x 17 mm allow easy integration into existing setups. For correct operation, it is recommended to leave at least 1 cm of clearance on each side of the board.
