Description
The Raspberry Pi M.2 HAT+ allows M.2 peripherals, such as NVMe drives and AI accelerators, to connect to the PCIe 2.0 interface on the Raspberry Pi 5, providing high-speed data transferup to 500 MB/s. The cap acts as an adapter, converting the 16-pin 0.5mm FPC connector to standard M.2, supporting formats 2230 and 2242 with M key. The adapter can supply up to 3 A of current to connectedM.2 devices. The Raspberry Pi M.2 HAT+ is automatically detected by the latest Raspberry Pi software/firmware. A 16mm connector and spacers are included to allow use with the Raspberry Pi (Active Cooler). The Raspberry Pi M.2 HAT+ is ideal forRaspberry Pi 5 users who want to expand their system with high-speed NVMe drives or AI accelerators.
