WEMOS D1 mini ESP8266 is a versatile board with a built-in ESP8266-12F module. It includes an efficient USB-UART (CH340) converter that enables direct programming through a USB-C connector without additional converters. The module provides 9 GPIO pins supporting popular interfaces such as PWM, I2C, SPI and 1-Wire. The integrated 3.3V voltage regulator allows convenient powering directly from the USB port.

The microcontroller is fully compatible with the Arduino IDE and works excellently in projects based on ESP Home and Home Assistant.

Key technical features

The board features compact dimensions of 34 x 25 mm and a USB-C connector. It is based on an 80MHz RISC processor capable of running at 160MHz. It has built-in 4MB flash memory and an integrated PCB antenna. Wireless communication uses Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n with support for AP, STA and AP+STA modes.
