The MQ-3 sensor is exceptionally sensitive to alcohol in the air while showing high immunity to interference from gasoline, smoke, and other vapors. It is well suited to detecting various alcohol concentrations, making it an ideal choice for projects that require precise air quality analysis, such as in-vehicle alcohol detectors or portable monitoring devices.
The module offers two output types: digital (D0) with an adjustable trigger threshold via the built-in potentiometer, which can be easily integrated with microcontrollers, and analog (A0). The analog output connected to an A/D converter input allows more accurate determination of alcohol concentration. The MQ-3 sensor combines long service life, low cost, and simple installation, making it an attractive solution for a wide range of technology applications.
