The Pineberry Pi HatDrive! is an innovative solution for Raspberry Pi 5 users. The device provides support for NVMe (M-key) M.2 drives in 2230, 2242 and 2280 sizes and features a PCIe x1 interface, compatible with both Gen2 and Gen3 standards. HatDrive BM1L (BOT) also offers LED indicators to monitor power voltage and M.2 drive activity.
An advanced real-time monitoring and diagnostics system allows voltage, current and power parameters to be tracked via the I2C interface. The device has an integrated voltage regulator that provides up to 3A for the 3.3V power rail, in line with the M.2 (NGFF) standard. Mounting M.2 drives is quick and easy, thanks to a dedicated metal bracket. Power supplied directly via the included FPC PCIe ribbon or via a 4-pin connector.
The HatDrive BM1L printed circuit board (PCB) is easy to use with clear markings. It has been manufactured with high quality electronic components for durability and reliability. The device is distinguished in the market by its unique BOTTOM version, enabling the installation of long NVMe drives in 2280 format. A complete set of accessories is included with the device, including a dedicated PCIe FPC tape, spacers, M2.5 screws and an M.2 card mounting spacer. The 4-pin connector cable is not included.
