Installation Instructions

1. Remove the mirror trim or door panel to gain access to the wiring.
2. Disconnect the mirror heating power connector.
3. Identify the power wires (positive and ground) using a multimeter - voltage should appear when heating is turned on.
4. Drill an 8mm hole in a chosen visible location (e.g. in the mirror trim).
5. Install the indicator using the included O-ring, washer, and nut.
6. Permanently connect the diode wires to the mirror heating circuit (soldering recommended).

After proper installation, the indicator will light up when mirror heating is manually turned on and automatically when the engine control unit initiates the DPF filter regeneration process.
